Hi from Misery Guts, and thanks for stopping by!

We've done our best to dream up the questions you might have. We know there's probably a few we haven't thought of, so if you can't find what you're after, please do get in touch.

Q. Where can I buy Misery Guts products?
A. Right here online, or check out our stockist list in the 'info' drop menu above

Q. How can I pay online?
A. Miseryguts.co.nz has a shopping cart, where you are able to make payments. We happily accept payments via Paypal which include credit card and debit card options. If you’d like to pay direct. Contact us directly with your order and request and we’ll see what we can do to help.

Q. How much is postage & handling if I purchase products online?
A. Prices vary according to your location however, we've decided to make it a flat rate and any extras are 'on us'. New Zealand Nationwide delivery is a flat rate of $7.00 for the first item and $1 extra will be added for each additional item. NOTE* This excludes the lamps which require additional packaging - shipping is $10 for all lamps.

Q. Do you ship internationally?
A. First of all, thanks for checking in from so far away! Yes of course, however at this stage we are only able to process orders through the website to Australia, United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada and Singapore. (If your countries not listed... keep reading)

To make international orders please just make your selections via the website, once you reach the payment page, select the relevant country and enter your details. Freight will be caluclated at this time.

International Shipping prices ($NZ):

Australia: $12 for the first item and $4 extra will be added automatically for each additional item.

United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada and Singapore: $23 for the first item and $10 extra will be added automatically for each additional item.

All International shipping options/ prices through the website are untracked, basically because this is the most affordable option. However, as they are untracked, we are unable to take responsibility if your goods were to go walkabouts. Therefore, international shipping is at your own risk. If you wish to have your items tracked, please contact us directly with your address details and the items you are after and we will obtain a quote for you. Please note however, the tracked option is considerably more.

If your country is not listed above, just get in touch with what you are after and your full delivery details and we will be in touch with shipping costs.

Q. I've changed my mind?

A. A sale and purchase with Misery Ltd, whether retail or wholesale is final. Goods cannot be returned if you have had a change of heart or for wholesalers if you are unable to sell through the products. Once an order is placed and the products are received, they cannot be returned unless by prior arrangement (prior arrangement also applies to faulty or damaged products which we will of course replace.).

 Q. New Zealand customers - Oh no, my goods are missing or have been damaged in transit, what should I do?

A. Our wall art is packaged in cardboard rolls as we consider them precious cargo, all products are then wrapped in brown paper for added protection in the hope they arrive at your door in perfect condition ready to be loved. As a result, any items damaged during delivery will be replaced unpon receipt of damaged goods to our postal address. Just get in touch and we can tell you what to do next.

If an item has been lost or stolen in transit, a replacement will be organised at our discretion.

Q. Do you send gifts?

A. Of course. Misery Guts is a great gift option. Especially if you’re overseas and want a gift sent to someone in New Zealand. Just make a note on your order, that it’s a gift, who its for, and a short message. We’ll enclose your message, wrap it up in brown hand stamped paper then finish with grosgrain ribbon – and ya done!

Q. Where are Misery Guts products made?
A. After we've designed the products, wonderfully talented big humans from all over the world including Fair Trade suppliers in Nepal and Sri Lanka and local suppliers here in New Zealand add their little bit of wonderful and out comes Misery Guts.

Q. What are Misery Guts products made of?
A. Check out the product page relating to the product you are interested in purchasing and materials are listed there. If you have another question, please do get in touch.

Q. I opened my Misery Guts wall banner and there is an indent on the vinyl canvas?
A. The material we use to produce our wall hangings is super durable. It is a vinyl canvas and as such, will more than likely have an indent on the print caused by the battens or the string when first removed from the poster roll. Please hang the wall banner at room temperate for an hour or so and the indents will disappear.

Q. Why did you choose the name Misery Guts?
A. Misery Guts is a play on the artists name Misery, AKA Tanja McMillan. Tanja is one of the founders of Misery Guts and the artist who creates all our beautiful pieces. We thought long and hard about a name, which would bring kids and Tanja’s work together. We both recall being called Misery Guts at some point in our lives as children – mostly by grandparents. We think it’s a little bit mischievous, a little bit fun and a whole lot of wonderful.
